Allen Gardner: The Next Voice in Country Music

Some of the greater things in life are the ones we happen to stumble upon. For this young man he recently discovered that not only does he love to sing but he is pretty good at it too. Wayne Allen Gardner III, a 26 year old Marine Corps Veteran from Wilmington North Carolina, currently residing here in San Diego. He has gotten into producing his own music and gifting the world with his stories. When I first met Allen he was singing along to the band at the bar we were at and I was awe struck by his strong gripping voice. He allowed me the opportunity a couple weeks later to sit down and get to know him a little better.

One warm night over this past summer him and a few buddies decided to go out for some karaoke. This is where he discovered his love for performing. After that night he picked up a guitar and started writing. Taking inspiration from the chapters of his life that led him to be the man he is today. His music reflects who he is, honest, raw, and unapologetically himself. He spoke to me of a song he wrote called Cheyanne that he hopes to put out sometime in the near future.
When asked where he feels his place is in country music, he told me it's among the story tellers. Everything he puts out there he means in all facets. Whether it's in a song or him just speaking to you, he means it with his whole soul. Allen has a voice that matches the raw words he speaks as well. He draws you in and makes you want to stay awhile.
