Intimate and indie: Lime Cordiale comes to San Diego 4/20/24
A staple of the pop-rock scene in Australia, Lime Cordiale is coming back to North America for their second world tour before the release of an upcoming new album at the Music Box in downtown San Diego.
Brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach are the frontrunners of Lime Cordiale, known well for their unique pop-rock style and descriptive yet visually ambiguous album art. An equally artistic group in sound is made up for in their love and care for the audience with a focus on making each show intimate and unique.
“You might even get a birthday shout-out on the mic. We may force you to get up on your boyfriend’s shoulders even though he’s got skinny thighs and recently had a knee reconstruction. If you’re in the front row, you’ll definitely feel the seabreeze of Louis’ spittle with every word he sings. It’ll be a night to remember”.
From their humble beginnings playing shows in Sydney suburbs, they have made a big name for themselves collaborating with the likes of Idris Elba and Fatboy Slim. An EP spawned out of this brotherhood called Cordi Elba, with the title track Holiday- and two Fatboy Slim remixes to follow. A fun summer funk track, with a four-on-the-floor beat is just what San Diego needs to start the summer!
Debuting their first live concert performance of their new song Pedestal, be sure to come out and support them at the Music Box this April 20th at 9:00 pm, only a 5-minute walk from Santa Fe Depot and County Center / Little Italy station. An 18+ show, clocking in at $27 per ticket is sure to be an expressive and exciting experience!
