Sydney Hagen

Born and raised on a farm in Southern Ohio, Sydney is a singer, writer, and navy veteran. Growing up, Sydney would go to her grandparents’ house every afternoon where her grandfather taught her to sing the blues, jazz, country, and folk. As she grew so did her love of music. She participated in the school’s band and choir and at the age of 17 even competed in the Ohio FFA state talent show placing in the top 10 in the state. Around this time Sydney started writing her not only own songs but also writing articles for a few of the local and state ag news networks. At the age of 18 Sydney enlisted in the navy and spent 5 years as a corpsman working with our country’s active duty and foreign allies. Now at the age of 24 Sydney has found her way back into the music scene through writing. Sydney now works for Nutrien Ag Solutions during the day and attends shows, meets bands and writes articles at night.
