"My name is Marelle. My genre is still being explored but falls somewhere between Jazz, Soul, and R&B. I'm from Northern California and now based in San Diego."

"I've been writing songs since I was twelve. And everything inspires the music I write. But I feel most inspired by my own experiences, and I specifically write a lot when I feel emotionally challenged in life."
WHAT IS YOUR NEWEST SINGLE, "BABY GIRL," ABOUT? WHAT MESSAGE ARE YOU TRYING TO GET ACROSS WITH THIS SINGLE?
"My latest single, 'Baby Girl,' I wrote when my younger sister first started dating. This is my way of telling her what a catch she is and to keep her standards high. This is a song for all women and a reminder that it is, in fact, better to be alone than to be with someone who undervalues you."

"I recorded this track at Amplified Studios with their incredible house band. My favorite part of this process was hearing the song completely transform when Adam Shapiro played piano. He really made the sun shine on this track. I don't have a least favorite part; I only have growth!"
