Donna Drive consists of four members. Dom (bass + backing vox), Jeddy (guitar + backing vox), Max (drums), and Anton (vox + keys).
HOW DID THE BAND FORM/WHEN DID THE BAND FORM?
"Dom and Jeddy began writing music together as 16-year-olds and played with friends until they could find and recruit Anton and Max. With all four musicians, each dedicated to their musical progression and the progression of the band, we have created music that we are proud of. We love playing music for people and creating wholesome enjoyment in a time where fun is fading into screens."
WHAT INSPIRED THE NAME "DONNA DRIVE"?
"A friend lived on a street named 'Donna Drive,' and another friend came up with the idea to use it as a band name. Since then, Donna Drive has developed into a metaphor for the road journeyed before you become great or accomplish anything. For us, Donna Drive has been the hours spent alone in our rooms practicing guitar, perfecting vocal warm-ups, honing in bass technique, or locking in beats to a metronome. For others, it could be the hours spent lifting weights, memorizing speeches, running, preparing presentations, developing ideas, or learning and persistently practicing skills. In a world where value is determined by physical success, Donna Drive hopes to give credit to those along the way with nothing yet to show for it."

TELL ME ABOUT THIS NEW SINGLE. WHAT WAS THE RECORDING PROCESS LIKE?
"Cha Cha was the first song written in collaboration between Dom and Jeddy. Others contributed key elements, but this song is special to the band because everyone has been able to come together to bring it to life. The recording process was so much fun, and we can not wait to earn more time in the studio with our next creations."
IS THERE A CERTAIN MESSAGE YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET ACROSS WITH YOUR SINGLE?
"This song is a ball of energy, and we hope to create exciting experiences for those kind enough to listen."
WHAT ARE DONNA DRIVE'S PLANS FOR THE FUTURE?
"We are so excited to share our music with the world. We have been blown away by the kindness, enthusiasm, and support of everyone around us. People have been impossibly generous with their talents, capabilities, and wisdom. We are constantly motivated by the responsibility to earn the privileges we have been given, and we can't wait to continue this journey. Cha Cha is the first single of our upcoming 10-track record, which we will release very soon. We will play next at Soma, a respected venue in San Diego, as the headlining band, on March 25th."
